"The mission of quizzing is to see visible evidence of the application of God's Word in the lifestyle of each participant."

Bible Quizzing is a ministry of Life Impact Ministries/CMA to assist teens to connect with God in a deeper way by Experiencing Him and Expanding His Kingdom.

It accomplishes this by:

• Providing teens with an opportunity to be involved in the systematic study and application of God's Word.
• Building character, instilling self-discipline, and encouraging prayer and unity.
• Equipping young people with the capacity to serve in other areas of ministry.

Rulebook

Canadian Midwest Quizzing uses the Quizzing rules approved by the Christian and Missionary Alliance International Bible Quizzing Advisory Committee. This C&MA Bible Quizzing Rule Book (PDF) was last revised in June of 2006.

Why is this all important enough to do?

1. The Word can cleanse our ways (Psalm 119:9).
2. The Word that is hidden in our hearts may be used to keep us from sinning (Psalm 119:11).
3. The Word gives us direction in life (Psalm 119:105).
4. The Word can refute Satan and aid in dealing with temptation (Matthew 4:1-11).
5. The Word can refute heresies (I Peter 3:15).
6. The Word can help us in witnessing (Acts 2:14-40).
7. We are told to study the Word to show ourselves approved of God, thus we can rightly divide the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15).
8. The Word of God is the only offensive weapon in the Christian's armor (Ephesians 6:11-18).

Eligibility Policy

At the beginning of the new quizzing year some coaches and parents often have questions about a teenager's eligibility to quiz with their church team. This Eligibility Policy statement will address CMQ's position on these matters and the philosophy of growth and expansion of Bible quizzing within our district.
